Personal Best Athletics is a group of coaches and athletes with a common goal: being the best we can possibly be. Everything we do is centered around maximizing the potential of each athlete we work with and helping them achieve success. In order to best serve our athletes, we have created a variety of year-round programs that are driven by a unique training philosophy. And it's all about you.

Holistic Perspective 



There are three facets of being an athlete: physical ability, mental strength, and social interactivity. The most successful athletes are well rounded, so we focus on providing a balanced focus in all three areas. Beyond sharpening technique, we instill a love of hard work in our athletes so they have the necessary physical ability to push themselves to be successful. We also have a unique approach to the psychological aspect of competition that helps our athletes gain incredible mental strength and focus. Finally, we foster a social environment that focuses on using teamwork and meaningful relationships to support performance and eliminate the fear of failure.

Total Mindfulness

Mindfullness is, according to Jon Kabat-Zinn, "paying attention on purpose, in the present moment, and nonjudgmentally, to the unfolding of experience moment to moment." Training our mind is just as important as training our body. While training involves intense physical dedication, there is much to competition that isn’t seen. In fact, the results of some of the greatest moments in sports history came down to who had the greatest mental strength, and that's what we focus on at PBA. We've developed a unique approach that takes into account both the physiological and psychological development of the brain, both on and off the field. In this way, athletes develop both strong bodies and sound minds, leading to better results and happier lives.

Tailored Training

In athletics, one size doesn’t fit all. Every athlete has unique talents and goals that require a personalized training plan. We think there is nothing more important than your goals, aspirations, and dreams. So that is exactly where we start.

Our training plans begin with your ultimate reason for training - where you want to go. We then custom build a plan to help you get there that begins with your current abilities. Sometimes personal training is best; sometimes team competition is best. Whatever it is, we pride ourselves in finding the path that will help you be the best you can be.
