Coach Hudgens bio and insights on Carsyn Spurgeon...

"Carter Bradford  connected with Personal Best Athletics through one of Oklahoma's greatest distance runners, Jerry Faulkner.  Carter was blessed with Jerry as a coach and mentored throughout his middle school running expeirences.  But, the summer after Carter's 8th grade year Jerry got an offer to run for New York Athletics Club sponsored by Nike.   the summer going into his is full of power, speed, and toughness.  I first met Logan going into his sophomore track & field season and I quickly noticed a couple things: 1. He was lacking mechanics in his start and running technique, 2. He wasn't lacking in his will to do whatever would make him bettter.  He's quickly applied healthy habits, discipline in his drills, and consistently applying his will to work as hard and as often as he can.   His technique has developed a consistency in his racing and injury prevention.  Logan's power, especially developed from his PowerLifting experiences with Okemah High School, is transfering into his start and drive-phase.  Aside running fast, the best part of Logan, as an athlete I'm very honored to work with, is his attitude.  Respect is well grained into Logan Daily, he is punctual to practice and respects the time he spends, he's kind and encouraging to his teammates, parents, and coaches, and he respects himself as a leader.  Logan is a leader through his example, encouragement, and the energy his presence brings to practices and meets.  An example of his leadership and sacrifice for the team was the 2014 Summer Track Season, he stepped up to join the 4x400m, his toughness and maturity to pace himself allowed him to expeirence a strong race, and at the USATF Junior Olympic National Championships he split the fastest leg on the relay 49.96.  I'm extremely grateful Logan is a part of Personal Best Athlletics, and excited for him to continue growing into his on-growing potential, aka his Personal Best.

Unique to Carter is his inner renaissance man - He's an actor as the lead role in the school play, he leads worship through playing the guitar and singing at his church,  but my favorite is his Chris"
